Mr. Davis has over twenty-five (25) years of business experience. From April 1997, until March 2001, he served as President of the St. Louis Minority Business Council. The Council is an organization that links the corporate purchasing community and the minority business community to do business with one another. It is an affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (“NMSDC”) who’s primary goals are to create a climate in the business community that will make purchasing from minority firms a normal corporate practice and to increase marketing opportunities for minority entrepreneurs. During his tenure at the Council, Mr. Davis forged relationships with numerous senior executives in a significant portion of Future’s top 1,000 companies. As a result, he was successful in assisting many minority-owned companies in securing millions of dollars of business.

Mr. Davis was elected by his peers to Chair the NMSDC, Executive Director/President Committee. In this role he also served as a member of its Board of Directors and Executive Committee as well as a member of the Board of Director of the Business Consortium Fund (“BCF”). The BCF was created in 1984 by the NMSDC to provide and facilitate financing on reasonable terms to certified minority-owned businesses experiencing difficulty in obtaining financing through normal lending sources.

Mr. Davis served as a member of the St. Louis Board of Education from 1987 to 1989 and was elected to a six-year term in April 1991. He served as President of the Board from June 1993 until July 1995. During his tenure on the School Board, he also served as Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Public School Retirement System of the City of St. Louis. Under his leadership the then a $600 million Fund was restructured and today enjoys an investment portfolio totaling over $1.2 billion.

Mr. Davis currently serves as Chairman of the Economic Development Committee, St. Louis Black Leadership Roundtable, as a Trustee of the St. Louis Science Center and as Treasurer of the St. Louis Chapter of the National Association of Securities Professionals. He formerly served as a member, Greater St. Louis Economic Development Council, a member, Leadership Council of Southwestern Illinois and a member, Board of Advisors, St. Louis Initiative for a Competitive Inner City.

In April 2001, Mr. Davis formed DaLite & Associates, LLC to serve as a business consultant for small and mid-size business. In 2002, he co-led a team that operated as the Court Appointed Receiver for a mid-cap company operating in crisis. He and his team of consultants successfully restructured this company.

Mr. Davis is married and the father of an adult daughter and two adult sons. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies from St. Louis University. He has also completed Missouri Continuing Legal Education Advanced Business Acquisition Studies presented by the Missouri University Law School.
